An update on the Splash Park

July 12, 2022

On Sunday June 26th, our splash park began displaying an issue of not turning on. After diagnosing the issue, the problem was identified as the PCB HUB COMMAND CENTER. Unfortunately, this is the “computer brains” for our splash park. When a user pushes the activation button for the splash park, this Command Center tells which features to turn on and when, how long to run, how much water pressure to run through each feature, and when the entire system cycles off and becomes ready for another push of the button. Long story short, without it, we do not have a splash park.

As with all things, global supply chain issues caused extended timelines for our suppliers to contact us for availability of replacement parts. Having just heard back last week, the parts have been ordered. Unfortunately, they are not available to be shipped until early August. This is of course may change due to supply chain issues. After arriving the part will of course take some time to install.

We understand and share in everyone’s frustration, rest assured that everyone with the Town of Falher wants to have our wonderful splash park back up and running as soon as possible. In the meantime, we thank you all for your patience.
