Lifeguards AND Swim Instructors
Term of Employment: May to August 2026
The Town of Falher is looking for organized and energetic individuals to join our team at the Falher Regional Pool as Lifeguards and/or Swim Instructors.

The following positions are open:
1 head Lifeguard (18yrs or older) May 11th – Aug 22nd Full-time
2 Senior lifeguards (18yrs or older) May 16th – Aug 22nd Full-time 2-3 Junior lifeguards (15yrs or older) May 16th – Aug 22nd Part-time
1-2 Pool Assistants (14yrs or older) May 19th – Aug 21st Bronze Cross/ Medallion Part-time

The successful candidates will be responsible to the Head Lifeguard, and will assist the other pool staff in providing maximum opportunities for the public to enjoy recreational activities at the Falher Regional Pool.
Qualifications:

National Lifeguard Service (NLS) certification
Standard First Aid certification or Aquatic Emergency Care-
C.P.R. certification with Level C
A.E.D. certificate or willingness to obtain
Swim instructor certificate
GHS (WHMIS 2015) certificate or willing to obtain
Current criminal records check or willing to obtain

Good public relations skills, on the phone and in person

Must be able to work evenings and weekends
The salary varies by position and experience.

Public Works

TOWN OF FALHER SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY PARKS AND RECREATION WORKERS

Duties:
General maintenance of the campground, community recreation facilities, and public areas.
Operation and maintenance of recreation equipment
Sharing of various job duties as needed.

Employment Term: Full-time Seasonal 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday-Friday
May 4th – August 21st, 2026
July 2nd – August 21st, 2026
