Garage Sales during COVID19 Pandemic Some residents have inquired about holding Garage Sales this spring/summer. As we are still in Phase 1 of Alberta’s relaunch, we advise all residents to proceed with caution if they wish to hold a Garage Sale. Garbage Services Posted: May 28, 2020   Please Note: Starting June 12, 2020, Smoky River Waste Commission will begin working with Prairie Disposal for garbage pickup. Garbage pickup for the communities of Girouxville, Falher, Donnelly, and McLennan, will be moving to FRIDAYS. There is no change to materials allowed or disallowed with this change. Household garbage only, no construction materials such as shingles, concrete and other building materials. In order to prevent garbage litter around the community & the landfill due to windy conditions, we ask that residents bag their garbage, and place bags in their regular bins.
