Animal Control
The Town of Falher requires that all dogs and cats 3 months or older be licensed each year.
Each owner is allowed up to 2 animals of each genus.
Dogs wandering the Town at large is prohibited.
Dogs of the following breeds or a mix of the following breeds are restricted dogs under the vicious dog bylaw:
- Rottweiler
- Pit Bull
- Pit Bull Terrier
- American Staffordshire Bull Terrier
- American Staffordshire Terrier
- American Pit Bull
- Staffordshire
- Doberman, Doberman Pinscher
- Mastiff
- Rhodesian Ridgeback
- Chow Chow

Annual Fees
- Dog & cat license male, and female spayed – $20.00
- Dog & cat license female non-spayed – $30.00
- Restricted & vicious dog $150.00
