Municipal Elections
At the close of Nominations at 12:00 p.m. on September 22, 2025, the minimum number of candidates for the Town of Falher was five (5). 24 hours after the close of nominations, the number of candidates is equal to the 5 positions of Councillor available in the Town of Falher. Thus, each of the candidates shall be elected to the office for which they were nominated. (Acclaimed).
With the number of candidates being equal to the number of Councillor positions, Council shall be acclaimed with no election required for the Town of Falher.
An Organizational Meeting of the Council of the Town of Falher will be held not later than 14 days after the 3rd Monday in October. When this date has been confirmed it will be posted here and at the Town of Falher Council page here.

Élections municipales
À la fermeture des candidatures à 12 h le 22 septembre 2025, le nombre minimum de candidats pour la ville de Falher était de cinq (5). 24 heures après la fermeture des candidatures, le nombre de candidats est égal aux 5 postes de conseiller disponibles dans la ville de Falher. Ainsi, chacun des candidats sera élu au poste pour lequel il a été mis en candidature (par acclamation).
Le nombre de candidats étant égal au nombre de postes de conseillers, le conseil sera élu par acclamation sans qu’il soit nécessaire de tenir des élections pour la ville de Falher.
Une réunion d’organisation du conseil municipal de la ville de Falher aura lieu au plus tard 14 jours après le troisième lundi d’octobre. Lorsque cette date aura été confirmée, elle sera affichée ici et sur la page du conseil municipal de la ville de Falher ici.

The Local Authorities Election Act (LAEA) governs municipal and school division elections in Alberta. It sets out rules and regulations for candidates, donors, electors, and election administrators that must be followed before, during and after an election.
