2026 Combined Assessment & Tax Notices

Notice is hereby given that the assessment roll of the Town of Falher, made under the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26, has been prepared and will, for sixty (60) days be open to inspection of the office of the secretary/treasurer of the municipality during business hours and that any person who desires to object to the entry of his name or that of any other person upon the said roll or the assessed value placed upon any property must, within (60) days from the notice of assessment date of May 28, 2026, lodge his/her complaint(s) in writing with the Town of Falher.

Combined Assessment/Tax notices were mailed May 20, 2026. As per section 311 and 337 of the Municipal Government Act, all assessed persons are deemed to have received their assessments and tax notices 7 days after being sent.

Any person who wishes to appeal his/her assessment must do so in writing by July 27,2026 using the Government of Alberta Assessment Review Board Complaint form, or as otherwise provided for by Regulation or Ministerial Order, to be valid.
