NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED BYLAW 26-04 ISSUANCE OF DEBENTURE(S) IN THE AMOUNT OF $700,000.00 FOR THE PURPOSE OF A CAPITAL PROJECT FOR REPLACEMENT OF SECTIONS OF WATER AND SEWER INFRATRUCTURE BENEATH MAIN STREET
TOWN OF FALHER
Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26 of the Statutes of Alberta, notice is hereby given that the Council of Town of Falher will hold a public hearing prior to the 2nd reading of Bylaw No. 26-04. Bylaw No. 26-04 would allow the Town of Falher to authorize the financing, undertaking and completion of sanitary sewer trunk main replacement & water system improvements through indebtedness of $700,000 to the Alberta Capital Finance Authority.
The proposed Bylaw may be viewed in full at the Town Office during regular office hours or online here
The Public Hearing is to be held at 7:00p.m., June 10, 2026 in the Council Chambers of the Town of Falher Office, Falher, Alberta, or via Electronic Means via Microsoft Teams.
Individuals are asked to provide their contact information to be used in the event that they are disconnected from the Public Hearing and to identify them in the hearing proceedings. The Town will make a reasonable attempt to re-connect with any preregistered speaker in the event that they are disconnected but reserves the right to proceed with the Public Hearing at their discretion.
