Town of Falher Truck Fill Closure Town of Falher Truck Fill Closure – Extension November 21, 2024 After discussions with the Smoky River Regional Water Commission, the Town of Falher has made motion to extend the operation of the Town of Falher Truck Fill Station through 2025, with a revised closing date of January 1, 2026. The goal of this extension will allow the region to establish a suitable service replacement. CLOSED – Big Red Slide Recently some safety concerns presented themselves at the Honey Capital Park, specifically with our ‘Big Red Slide’. Our crews, combined with local experts are assessing the issues in order to provide a safe playground for our region. Unfortunately, however, the current condition means we cannot allow the public to use the ‘Big Red Slide’. The tower structure itself remains safe to use and the 2 smaller slides remain open.
