NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PROPOSED LAND-USE BYLAW AMENDMENT NO. 26-06

TOWN OF FALHER

Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, Chapter M-26, notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Falher will hold a public hearing prior to the second reading of Bylaw No. 26-06.

 

Bylaw No. 26-06 proposes to amend the Town of Falher Land Use Bylaw No. 24-04 by redistricting lands legally described as Lot A, Plan 4276NY from Heavy Industrial District (M-2) to Low and Medium Density Residential District (R-1), as shown below.

If adopted by Council, Bylaw No. 26-06 would bring the existing legally non-conforming residential use on the subject property into conformity with the Land Use Bylaw.

 

The proposed Bylaw may be viewed in full at the Town Office during regular office hours or online here

 

The Public Hearing is to be held at 7:00 p.m., November 10th, 2026 in the Council Chambers of the Town of Falher Office, Falher, Alberta, or electronically via Microsoft Teams.

 

Individuals are asked to provide their contact information to be used in the event that they are disconnected from the Public Hearing and to identify them in the hearing proceedings. The Town will make a reasonable attempt to reconnect with any preregistered speaker in the event that they are disconnected but reserves the right to proceed with the Public Hearing at its discretion.
