Black Knot The Town of Falher has identified a noticeable amount of Black Knot infections within the local tree population. To assist in the control of the spread of this disease, the Town of Falher will be accepting tree debris from Black Knot trimming for burning disposal. We ask that when trimming or pruning infected trees, the debris is disposed of immediately in order to prevent the spread. CLOSED – Big Red Slide Recently some safety concerns presented themselves at the Honey Capital Park, specifically with our ‘Big Red Slide’. Our crews, combined with local experts are assessing the issues in order to provide a safe playground for our region. Unfortunately, however, the current condition means we cannot allow the public to use the ‘Big Red Slide’. The tower structure itself remains safe to use and the 2 smaller slides remain open.
